Middletown is an animated show idea. The creators/ writers of the show ( Bryan Fogel and Sam Wolfson) asked me to design the world of middletown. As character creator and art director to Middletown I have been designing the general aesthetic and creating the many scene’s look for humorous visual payoff.
I sit on the subway and on the street drawing away the humans I see. Sometimes I’ll draw from strange people from history as well. I find beauty is often wrapped in ugly and vice versa and I laugh at it all.
As a producer and art director for Fahrenheit 212 I was asked on the side from my duties creating videos to create some art for the company’s new office space, so I created paintings that tied in with some of the company’s latest projects and topics. Mostly I was asked to paint witty and silly paintings to help drive interest in the company and add some fun to the new space.
A silly and super fun children’s animated show concept about a pug dog who gets accidently shipped to an Arctic town where he goes to school and acts as though he’s just a normal human boy. The story behind this story is to paint a picture of our world’s social and environmental issues but wrapped in hilarity for our audience. We want our kid viewers to have full belly laughs while thinking about how they can understand and change our world’s issues.

An animated adult show concept about a 13 year old boy named Carl who has a very special ability—he produces enourmous amounts of highly evolved pheromones. Carl’s pheromones affect all creatures and genders until Carl learns how to harnes and control them. Imagine having all the sexual power at your fingertips but while being an awkward teenager. This story is an action pacted dramatic comedy. Coming of age meets a hero’s journey.
